Three children burned to death
–On Wednesday the wife of a man named Seers’ who lives a mile or two south of Erie, Pennsylvania, left her three children at home alone and locked up he house to visit a neighbor.
During her absence the house took fire in some way, and burned down.
The children perished in the flames. The oldest was but four years of age. We cannot conceive of anything more horrible than an occurrence of this kind. It shows how careful mothers should be in leaving their little ones alone with fire near them.
